Fed Votes to Leave Policy Unchanged

Before getting into our main topic for today, the Labor Department reported this morning that the unemployment rate for October edged slightly lower to 9.0% from 9.1% for the previous three months. The report noted that non-farm payrolls climbed by 80,000 last month, more or less in line with expectations. We need monthly job creation…
